Fellowship

God has given us Christian brothers and sisters to support and encourage each other. At St. Michael, we value opportunities to build relationships and do life together. We have several regularly scheduled fellowship activities (listed below), as well as many special events and gatherings throughout the year.

Coffee Hour

Every Sunday morning, we have a time of fellowship. Between our worship services from 9:30-10:45 a.m., as well as briefly after the second service, people mingle and chat in the Gathering Room over coffee and snacks. This is a great opportunity to get to know the people of St. Michael. Volunteers make coffee and provide snacks; sign up for your desired date on the bulletin board in the Gathering Room.

50+ Luncheon

Seasoned congregation members and friends meet for a themed potluck lunch in the Gathering Room on the third Wednesday of every other month. The church provides the main course, and attendees bring a side dish or dessert. Each luncheon includes an educational program or a holiday activity. Past events have included a demonstration from therapy dogs, a patriotic singalong, a collection of donations for sexual assault survivors, and a presentation from the county health department on healthy aging.

Pickleball

From 4-6 p.m. on the third Sunday of the month, St. Michael opens the gym for pickleball. The gym is lined and nets are set up for three courts. Paddles and balls are provided, or feel free to bring your own if you like. Games are informal and organized based on who attends each month. Congregation members, friends and community members are welcome. Contact Karin Johnstone or the church office for more information.

Card Making

A caring and creative team sends handmade cards to congregation members for birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions. If you enjoy crafting and fellowship, join this group on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the Gathering Room to create cards. Contact Sharon Reuter or the church office for more information.
