Giving

Cheerful giving is an act of worship. Giving to St. Michael Lutheran Church supports the ongoing work of our church and makes our ministry possible. Monetary gifts provide the resources needed to effectively preach the gospel, reach out to our community and support mission partners.

In-Person Giving

Tithes and offerings are collected during in-person worship services. Financial contributions can be made with cash or checks made out to St. Michael Lutheran Church.

For ease of giving and tax reporting, all congregation member households receive offering envelopes each year, unless enrolled in electronic giving. If you are a regular worshiper at St. Michael and would like offering envelopes, contact the church office.

Electronic Giving

Forms to enroll in recurring, electronic giving are available in the church office.

One-time donations can be made through PayPal [link]

Memorial Giving

If you’d like to make a gift in memory of a member of St. Michael who has died, checks can be made out to St. Michael Lutheran Church and mailed to 5790 W. Temperance Rd., Ottawa Lake, MI 49267. Include “[name of the individual being remembered] Memorial Fund” in the memo line.

Planned Giving

You can designate St. Michael Lutheran Church as a beneficiary in your estate planning, which allows you to benefit the ministry of your church beyond your lifetime. St. Michael can also accept stock/non-cash gifts. Contact Beth Pauli or the church office if you have questions about these types of gifts.
